-Willimansett Waste accepts all types of non-ferrous metals. These include copper, brass, aluminum, insulated copper or aluminum wire, lead, stainless steel, non-ferrous automotive scrap, auto batteries, electric motors, sealed units, and e-scrap (computer boards, memory, disk drives, power supplies, etc.) Please see our

How can I tell the difference between ferrous (steel) and non-ferrous metals?
- It's easy, just use a magnet. If the magnet sticks to the material, it is ferrous metal (steel). If it does not stick, it is non-ferrous metal. Willimansett Waste accepts all types of non-ferrous metals
Does Willimansett Waste sell used car parts?

Do I need a valid state or federal U.S. ID?
- Yes, local regulations require individuals selling scrap metal to present a valid ID
Does Willimansett Waste offer container service for metal pickup?
- No, at this time Willimansett Waste does not offer container service for metal
Do I need to separate the metals before I bring them to Willimansett Waste?
- We suggest that you separate the metals to the best of your ability before arriving to ensure that your wait time and the wait time of those after you is as short as possible. If you do have a material that you cannot identify, we will gladly help you determine the material when you arrive
What are the policies at Willimansett Waste?
- Drain all fluids from transmissions
- Separate all faucets from brass
- Prepare all metals before arriving. Do not prepare them in the street in front of the facility
- DO NOT wear sandals or flip-flops to our facility.
